“There You Are”

On these damp gloomy days

How I miss your smiling face

These dark evenings

How your sparkling eyes

Would lighten my Soul

In my lonely bed where once you slept

I miss you all the time

From the jokes you would tell

From the kisses on my lips

As you said “goodnight”

How I miss you

But as I close my eyes

And go off to sleep

I feel you climb in bed

Next to me

I look to you

And there you are

Smiling just smiling

All for me

    1. I love Rachmaninoff, David used to say “Classical music not that other rubbish” so I got to know classical works my first born Son used to sleep to the sounds of Rachmaninoff and other Russian composers, I guess thats why he likes classical works too. Now I enjoy the other music I should have in my twenties.
