NOVEMBER REMEMBRANCE MONTH – THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER

From whence He came no one knows

to this day He lays alone

amongst the Kings

Lords and Generals

Honoured by His Nation

Men from Countries far apart

fought on foreign Land

brave men some just boys

fought until they died

For Country for King

for His Home

this unknown Warrior Died

in the War to end all Wars

Soldiers from trenches and mud

died on ground soaked in blood

their tears all dried up

this Soldier his details lost

buried in France

an Unknown Warrior

Returned to His beloved Homeland

this Unknown Soldier

Honoured by His Nation

Weep for Him

Weep for them All

They gave their lives

their gave us our Tomorrow

Remember them All

Remember the price they paid

for Our Freedom

“WHEN YOU GO HOME, TELL THEM OF US AND  SAY.  FOR YOUR TOMORROW WE  GAVE  OUR TODAY.”      –      JOHN MAXWELL EDMUND’S   1916

BRITISH UNKNOWN SOLDIER   –   LEST  WE  FORGET    –    Please Remember them ALL, Men and Women who go to War to fight for OUR Freedom, where and when it does not matter their Bravery their Courage a debt we can never repay.
