AS WE WALKED IN THE PARK

Strolling through the Park alone

to gaze upon the trees

as Autumn ends and Winter comes

despite the early sun

Leaves that fall

as if in slow motion

remind me of you, of us

you gathered coloured leaves

wrapped gently

in your handkerchief

As we walked, how we talked

of you, of me the future you could see

wind blows and blew my hair

your arm around my shoulder

to protect me from the cold

Those times walking in the Park

through the long grass we walked

the summer flowers all faded now

there by the wall

Michaelmas Daisies

soon the snow will fall

and too soon you will be gone

One of my favourite films and certain one of my favourite songs, its just so romantic.
